Design Services Rates

A guideline to use for a complete set of plans for a remodeling project is approximately 2% to 5% of the total sales price. This includes the As-Built measuring, conceptual drawings, 3D views and renderings and complete working drawings.

There are many things that can affect the price of the plans including the total number of meetings, changes, and the amount of detail needed.

Our standard individual hourly rate is $95.00 per hour billable in 15 minute increments. To help you save money, we also offer our services in hourly blocks, paid in advance. 5 hour blocks at $85.00 per hour and 10 hour blocks at $75.00 per hour.

A standard As-Built measure on a typical 2000 sf house takes 4 - 8 hours. This includes the entire house, complete details including electrical and HVAC and the lot. Since we draw the house on a laptop - onsite, when we finish the As-Built measure you will know everything you need about the house you're working on. With a 1-inch tolerance, the accurate As-Built plan will lead the way towards a very cost effective plan for the remodeling project. I've been doing this for years and have proven time and time again that the patience involved in this process saves my clients lots of money.
