Ron has worked in the construction industry in one facet or another since 1983 when he joined a large multi-national engineering firm as a freshly minted mechanical engineer. After doing his time to qualify for his license, and then sweating through his PE exam which he passed on shear luck, he nearly died from the boredom of design.  He started attending night school and eventually acquired an MBA. At this point, Ron was highly educated and totally useless.
