Architectural Fonts for Chief
Chief V10 and X1 come
with 3 nice fonts that install on your computer when you load the program. These
fonts are CityBlueprint, CountryBlueprint and Blueprintdbt.
To access these fonts,
double click on the font icon and select the fonts from the list. If you don't
see these fonts you may need to activate them manually.
To activate these fonts
manually, go to: --> Start Button --> Control Panel -->
Fonts --> File (In the Menu Bar) --> Install New Font -->
Select and double click on the "Fonts" folder. (In the small window on the
bottom left) --> Find the font on the list and select "OK" -->
Select OK on the message
The font will now show up
in the Chief text window if it didn't before.
My favorite is the
Blueprintdbt because it's a nice font that prints darker.
You can set this font up
as your default for text and for the dimensions. Double click on the
Text icon and the Ruler icon and select the font you want to use all of
the time.
If you "Open" and make
these changes in your template file, the font will be set up for any future
plans.
Don't forget to double
click on the "Arrow" icon to select the default arrow you want also.
